Job Description:

The Human Resource Coordinator will act in partnership with the HR team and the team at large in the following functional areas: HRIS systems administration, onboarding, training, benefits, employment law, and compliance.

Requirements

Essential Functions:

  • Provide HR Customer Service to the Block Imaging internal team, via answers to questions in the area of benefits, compliance, hiring process, and employment matters.
  • Central point of HR contact for the organization and team at large, by answering and responding to team requests and questions.
  • Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
  • Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
  • Assistance in the administration of benefits plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations.
  • Partner in the support of onboarding and orientation efforts of the organization that makes team members feel seen and cared for.
  • Cross trained in all elements of HR support of the organization-hiring, benefits, human resource information and processes, employee relations and employment law compliance.
  • Partner with HR Director and HR Team in projects related to their areas of responsibility.
  • Enhance HR support with assigned projects, and other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

Education: B.S. degree in human resources or general business

Experience:

  • Three years experience in human resources strongly preferred 
  • Experience with HRIS systems admin strongly preferred
  • SHRM-CP desired
